Yamaha DVD-S2500 DVD player

The S2500 is Yamaha's flagship universal DVD player. This player supports DVD video & audio, SACD,audio CD, MP3, JPEG and playback if every recordable DVD format.

Nearly every output is featured on this player, from composite to HDMI. An upscaled 720p or 1080i picture from the S2500 looks fantasic on a LCD or plasma display. The S2500 also outputs an excellent analogue progressive scan image from its component outputs.

Audio outputs are well covered from an analogue stereo pair, analogue 5.1 outputs from the players in built Dolby Digital decoder, a DD & DTS optical & coaxial output and an iLink output. iLink can support the high bitrate from a SACD or DVD-A disc and be decoded by a compatible AV amplifier, it also provides high quality DD or DTS transfer.
