Heating & cooling control

Controlling and scheduling your home, or workplace,  heating and cooling makes sense. It will reduce your energy usage and save money.

If you already have a house control system, adding your home heating and cooling systems is straightforward to do and can be quite inexpensive.

Whether you have radiators, underfloor heating, air conditioning or mixture of all these, we have a control solution for you.

5 thoughts about heating & cooling control.

  • With a controlled heating and/air cooling system you do not need to have a thermostat for every room, instead you can have a discreet temperature sensor and control all your house heating on your smartphone, tablet or control system touchscreen.

  • Whether you have a traditional installed radiator system or a zoned radiator system, you can simply control and schedule your room or zone heating.

With a traditional installed radiator system we can install wireless or wired Thermostatic Radiator Valves (TRVs). With wired TRVs you can also install room thermostats or separate temperature sensors for accurate room temperature control.

  • Depending on the type of your air conditioning (AC) system you will be able to cool and/or heat your room or zones.

An important consideration is to ensure that your AC system does not conflict with your home heating system, which could result in you heating and cooling your room at the same time, or not allowing your heating system to get to the required room temperature.

A control system can be used to ensure that your heating and AC system are not being used at the same time, or that they are both used together in the most efficient and cost effective way possible.

  • Using your control system to schedule your heating system to only heat, or cool, rooms when occupation is required can result in a saving of up to 40% of your energy bill.

Set your bedroom to your comfort temperature an hour before you go to bed, turn the temperature down while you are sleeping, and raise the temperature to make it cosy when you wake up.

Turn the room down to a low temperature during the day when you are not using the bedroom. If you want to go to bed early or stay in bed late just adjust the setting on your phone.

  • Your control system can know when you are not at home, or asleep and it can also can know when you are coming home. So it can be used to turn off, or reduce. the house heating and air conditioning accordingly.

For instance, use your phone to turn the heating on when you arrive at the airport, to make sure your home is comfortable when you get home.
