We do not recommend always using the same quality speakers for every room. Use your budget to get the best sound in the room(s) you use the most.

We also install a range of architectural style speakers that can fit flush in ceilings and walls without any protruding grilles. These are a great solution for ceilings with plaster-in style light fittings for that clean, clear, flat ceiling look.

The more speakers you put in a space, the greater coverage of sound and the lower volume you will require for comfortable listening in all places - you would not try to light a kitchen with a single downlight.

However, not many people want to have lots of big speaker grilles on the ceiling, so instead carefully placed speakers of the right size will be the best solution.

If you want to cover a large area with clear, even sound then it is worth considering smaller (downlight size) speakers with sub-bass reinforcement.
